The original PAF® humbucker by Gibson® has been constantly updated throughout the years and here is our modern take on the humbucker. Feedback free and ready to take on anything you can put through it.

String spacing for bridge comes as standard 52.5mm and neck 49.2mm

​

The standard baseplate is nickel and the standard hookup wire is 4 core splittable.

Base Material

Brass or nickel. Brass tames the top end more whereas nickel has a more flat response.

Magnets

AlNiCo 2,3,4,5,6 or 8

​

Bobbins

Choose from 2 the same or mix & match

Black, white, parchment (off white), zebra, red, purple or green.

Cover

BYO Humbuckers come with no cover as standard or upgrade for £12 per cover and choose from:

​

Chrome, unplated, cosmo, matt black, gold, distressed nickel, distressed copper, nickel or gold w/no copper underplating.

Hookup Wire

Cloth covered wire with metal outer shield or 4 core splittable wire
