Pickups for Precision Bass. ®

The original Fender Precision Bass® made waves in 1951 when it first debuted, making bass players ever thankful for its portability factor, but it wasn't until 1957 that it changed radically, borrowing the body shape and headstock from the Stratocaster® it became the bass we know today. One of the biggest changes was the pickups. Moving from one overwound single coil (which we also do here), to a split pair of single coils. Since then, the design has changed very little and that's what we're celebrating here.
